Pluimveehouders kunnen hun mest niet kwijt, terwijl biologische akkerbouwbedrijven juist kampen met een mesttekort. In het project Kippenmest en Kringloop is daarom gekeken hoe de pluimveemest is in te passen op zowel biologische akkerbouw- als melkveebedrijven.

Abstract / summary in English:

Poultry farmers cannot get rid of their chicken manure, while organic arable farms are experiencing a manure shortage. The Kippenmest en Kringloop project (Chicken manure and nutrient recycling project) has therefore investigated the opportunities for using poultry manure on organic arable and dairy farms.
