Our CSR policy
As a knowledge institute, our mission is to promote sustainable agriculture, nutrition and health care. This way we contribute to a more sustainable world and healthier humans, animals, plants and soils. Sustainability has been the connecting theme throughout our work, for more than 40 years. It is of paramount importance also to the way we run our organisation. Our CSR policy is the logical corollary of our mission and systems approach, and shapes our thinking and acting.
It is our ambition to be a leader in sustainability, and to take our corporate social responsibility. CSR will be a touchstone for all our decisions. Naturally, we aim for 100% sustainable purchasing and promote a healthy life style and environmental awareness among our employees. Our key objectives for the coming years are to further the professional development and well-being of our employees, to increase financial transparency, and to reduce CO2 emissions.
Our CSR policy and monitoring and reporting methods are based on international standards such as the OECD Guidelines and the UN Global Compact principles.
